Beautiful design can also be purposeful.
In fact, that’s what makes a home all the more stunning.

When it comes to purpose, I rethink the mandatories. I see each home as unique – a space that has its own story to tell. If I am doing a major remodel of an existing home, I work to find aspects where I can stay true to its original heritage. I bring in pieces of its history and personality even as I create a fresh chapter for it. For new homes, I start each project envisioning the story of this new dwelling – including its location, views and place within its environment. Every detail is purposefully chosen. Big windows to invite the most of the outside in. An abundance of fireplaces. Pocket doors to beautifully unclutter. Multiple levels, unexpected textures, and eclectic artistry that turns each home into a composition. Nothing is ever chosen if it doesn’t have a clear purpose in making the final, completed project more spectacular.
